How lucky am I!! Mark's Daily Apple started a 30-day challenge yesterday, as well...how wonderful! I'll get even more guidance along the way along with recipes and workouts. Looks like I started just at the right time :)
Went to the grocery store today. Lots of ground meat, some chicken, eggs, veggies, blueberries...I also was able to find uncured bacon. I didn't know they had it at Kroger - woohoo!! I got so much food for breakfasts, lunches and dinners this week and will be freezing three pounds of ground beef that I got on sale.
I'm making chicken fajita salad tonight from The Foodie and the Family. It's going to be delicious! I'm also going to try her recipe for blueberry muffins made with almond meal.
I already feel better after just one day of no grains, sugar, soy, preservatives, etc. I'm breathing easier through my nose and I have more energy. Tonight looks like a great night for a walk after it cools off.
